The Suzuki RM-Z450 four stroke engine has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 that produces a huge amount of powerful torque, horsepower and hard acceleration from a bore and stroke of 96.0mm x 62.1mm.

While doing a complete tear down and rebuild from the ground up, Andy Hills spent many hours preparing his Suzuki RM-Z450 motocross bike for intense dirt action on this off road racing motorcycle.

For great handling characteristics, Suzuki built the RM-Z450 to very precise frame geometry and dimensions having a wheelbase length measurement from front axle to rear axle of 58.9 inches which is 1495mm long.

The overall length of the Suzuki RM-Z450 MX race bike is 86.2 inches which is equivalent to 2190mm.

With a primary kick starter, the RM-Z450 fires up and comes to life quickly in a user friendly style that Suzuki motorcycles are known for. The reliable semi dry sump lubrication system provides the engine with proper oil flow for trouble free riding and racing with routine maintenance and proper service.

For a fun day of riding the RM-Z450 4-stroke dirt bike, Suzuki provides a fuel tank which holds 1.6 US gallons or 6.2 liters. Front and rear disc brakes provide great stopping power and the CDI electronic ignition provides ample spark for that big 450 motor.
